Design Bio

A brief history

Currently a student, studying Level 6 Interior Architecture and Design at Birmingham City University, I have always had a passion for design and how the concept of design varies throughout different cultures and countries. This has led me to also study internationally at Willem De Kooning Academie, Rotterdam NL.

The main area in which I have interest is social design and project leadership. My experiences throughout university have led me to realise my desire to pursue design management as I believe I have the correct skill sets and my passion for social design has led to an interest in representation of others. I have a special interest in lending my voice to those who otherwise may not be heard.

Amanda Levete once said “start with a conversation, never a sketch” which I think speaks volumes as to how the design process should begin, by bouncing ideas off your peers to begin creative development. This quote is something I actively apply to my own work.
